Taitien, a quartz frequency control component manufacturer, (former Tai Tien Electronic Co., Ltd, established in 1976) was established in March 2000. Our main products include X’TAL, OSC, VCXO, TCXO, and is the first manufacturer in Taiwan that provides the technique of OCXO. Our complete product line enables one stop shopping service.
Taitien is based in Taiwan and has manufacturing sites in Taiwan, United States, and China. Operation and sales sites are located in Taiwan, United States, Europe and China. Our customers come from various fields including automotive, consumer electronics, information technology and telecommunications.
Taitien focuses on innovation and invests heavily in research & development. Over these years, the company patented quartz-manufacturing technologies. Today, Taitien is the leader in quartz industry and continues to develop new technologies through extensive research.

2009 Introduced world’s smallest Stratum 3 High Precision TCXO (±100 PPB, 5.0 x 3.2 x 1.6mm).

2007 Taitien Electronics (Shenzhen) merged Shenzhen Huajing FCP & BLANK plants which have over 20 years accumulated Frequency Control Product manufacturing expertise. Taitien Electronics (Shenzhen) merged Wintron Electronics. Taitien Electronics (Shenzhen) merged WANAN COUNTY HUAJING ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. Awarded Valuable Support Vendor Award from Westech. Award Public Welfare Partner from Council of Labor Affairs.
2006 Taitien Electronics (Nanjing) obtained TS16949 certification. Setup photolithography lab. Taitien’s OT-type PECL/LVDS XO won the 2006 Taiwan Symbol of Excellence. Awarded Public Welfare Partner from Council of Labor Affairs

2005 Taitien Electronics (Shenzhen) was established to produce Metal Can Crystal Oscillator. Cooperated with PhaseLink to develop the programmable crystal oscillator One Chip IC. Acquired Isotemp Research (USA) & its subsidiary Colorado Crystal Corporation and expanded OCXO design and production capabilities. Awarded Valuable Support Vendor Award from Westech. Awarded Excellent Supplier Award from Inventec. Awarded 2005-Excellent Supplier Award from KINPO.
2004 Taitien listed at Taipei Exchange’s Emerging Stock Market. Nanjing Tai Tien Electronics was renamed to Taitien Electronics (Nanjing). Awarded Excellent Supplier Award from MTI.
2003 Nanjing Tai Tien Electronics obtained ISO 9001 / QS 9000 certification.
2002 Established Taitien USA to better service US market customers. Received Industrial Benchmark Award from Ministry of Economic Affairs. Awarded Excellent Supplier Award from Seagate. Awarded Excellent Supplier Award from Inventec.
2001 Acquired Nanjing Tai Tien Electronics plant and began SMD VCTCXO mass production. Shuhlin facility obtained ISO 9001 / QS 9000 / ISO 14001 certification. Honored with Industrial Sustainable Development Excellence Award. Awarded Excellent Supplier Award from Inventec. Awarded Excellent Supplier Award from Seagate.
2000 Tai Tien Electronics spun off its FCP division to establish an independent entity, Taitien Electronics with dedicated focus on frequency control solutions. Introduced 7.0 x 5.0 x 2.0 mm SMD VCTCXO. Developed crystal oscillator 3rd overtone ASIC with Winbond. Award Excellent Supplier Award from Seagate.
1999 Developed all auto-equipment for SMD production.
1998 Setup TCXO mass production.
1996 Introduced 8.0 x 4.5 x 1.5 mm glass sealed SMD crystal. Shuhlin facility began SMD oscillator production.
1995 Co-developed 7.5 x 5.0 x 1.5 mm C-type oscillator with AT&T.
1994 Shuhlin facility obtained ISO 9002 certification, started to produce ceramic VCXO.
1993 New factory built in Shuhlin to deliver larger volume and higher end products.
1989 Developed crystal oscillator ASIC with Winbond.
1987 Commenced metal can type crystal oscillator production.
1986 Commenced crystal blank production.
1985 Commenced metal can type A/T cut crystal production.
1983 Developed own unique manufacturing and testing equipment, enabling efficient production and fast delivery.
1979 Taiwan Crystal Technology Co., merged into Tai Tien Electric Co., for operational synergy.
